Annual Donut Dash 5K and Fun Run

It’s our Annual Donut Dash 5K and Fun Run this Saturday, June 20th. We’ll meet at the park for an 8:30 a.m. start time. The 1-Mile Fun Run for the kids will be three laps around the park. For those wanting to run the 5k, we’ll begin at the gazebo and end at the pool house with donuts! Bring your swimsuits as well. If you can volunteer to direct runners on the course, please text Alisha Thompson at 404-309-0556.

Donuts are being donated by the Allred Family /Allred Family Dentistry.

Fourth of July Parade

If you are in town on the 4th of July and feeling patriotic, please join us! America is turning 250 years old! Decorate your bike, golf cart, motorcycle, electric scooter, car… or yourself and join the fun!

Where: Meet at the pool parking lot

When: July 4th at 10:00 a.m

Why: Because it’s fun, you can meet new people, and see old friends!

You can join the parade, or wave at us from your front porch or sidewalk. If the route is not in front of your house, come to the park and wave and cheer us on! We will not go down any cul-de-sacs. If you live in a cul-de-sac, please come to the front of your cul-de-sac and wave!

After the parade, come join us for an ice cream social at the pool!

Parade route: From the pool, we will turn right onto Horsemens Run, turn right on Addison Drive, go around the park, then go down Compton.

4th of July Fireworks and Donations

As we’ve done in the past few years, Horsemen’s Run neighbors have collectively brought their fireworks to the park to share the light show with everyone. If you’d like to join the show, but don’t have time to shop for fireworks or don’t want to, Kevin Condon is taking donations and will be doing extra shopping with the funds. And as always, we ask (and appreciate!) those who can stay and help clean up afterwards or the next morning.
