Republic Services Update

Republic Services emailed me back today. This was Melissa’s reply. She is the representative for this area. 

“We are no longer offering recycling services in your area all of the recycling services are being closed effective 9/30/23.  There’s no need for anyone to contact our customer resource center to adjust the rates as they have are or are being closed out.  It was brought to my attention though that some recycling accounts were not closed out prior to the invoices going out. So if a resident was billed for recycling services for October through December the accounts will prorate for those services with a credit on the next invoice. All recycle containers will be removed the week of October 2 through October 6 so they would need to leave their containers out for removal. If a resident does not wish to leave their container out for that period of time, they can reach out to our customer resource center for them to provide them the specific date that it was scheduled during that time. All removals should be keyed by mid day If not already scheduled. Let me know if you need any additional information.”- our local rep. Melissa Brown
